Subic (SBFZ)
Subic Bay is located southwest of the Luzon Island in the Philippines. It is about 110 km from Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. It has a unique setting surrounded by sea, mountains, forest and beaches. Once it was the Biggest U.S. Naval facility in the Far East and transformed into a first class commercial and industrial hub and became a Freeport Zone while still preserving and protecting the rich nature. There are a lot of multinational companies, such as Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean in Subic Bay Freeport Zone (SBFZ). SBFZ is also known as Tourist Spots by Asian People because they have many facilities for visitors such as Beaches, Hotels, Amusement Parks and International Airport.


The whole of Subic Bay Freeport Zone area, around 67,000 ha, is fenced, guarded and well secured. Well trained security officers are on a round the clock duty, 24/7 to ensure and maintain the peace and order at the 7 gates. Rules and Regulations are strictly observed and well implemented. Subic also has a fully-equipped 911 emergency response system, comprising of medical, fire and police services. Just dial 911 and expect prompt response and assistance in 3 to 5 minutes. There are power and water stations inside the Freeport. There is no power interruptions and the water supply which is clean and safe to drink is sufficient and abundant.

Subic town located at the north end of Subic Bay and about 10 km north of the Subic Bay Freeport Zone is also called "Subic". Thus, you need to be careful to use the word of Subic.

Central Business District Area
SBFZ area is divided into Central Business Area, Industrial Area, Residential Area and Forest Area. Poco a Poco Condo-Hotel is located in Central Business Area, which is the most convenient area. Other condominiums are located at Residential Area which is near or within the mountains of Subic. Therefore when you live in the Residential Area, a car is absolutely essential. On the other hand, Central Business Area has Beaches, Duty free shops, different kinds of Sports facilities, Movie Theater, and also you can access to Olongapo city by feet.

Craving for good food and different kinds of cuisine? In SBFZ, there's a wide selection of restaurants and food places to satisfy your tastes and budget. Many of them locate at CBDA. So from Poco a Poco, you can access the restaurant suited to your taste on foot. Some restaurants specialize in different cuisines like Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, Italian and American. Ayala group is constructing shopping mall at a few minutes walk from Poco a Poco. SM shopping mall will be constructed near main gate of SBFZ, too. Both malls bring us more comfortable life for sure. There is SBMA dispensary very close to Poco a Poco and Bay Pointe Hospital & Medical Center was newly constructed in the same area.




Clark
SCTEX (Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway) is a about 90 km four lane expressway and opened on 2008. Using this highway, we can access Clark in 30 minutes only from SBFZ. Clark Freeport Zone is redevelopment of the former U.S. Air force base. Thus, Clark also has modern infrastructure facilities, multinational companies and tourist spots like SBFZ.
